What is YOM?

YOM connects you with trusted local providers. You post what you need, providers send you offers, and you choose the one that fits best.

How do I create an account?

Download the YOM app, enter your phone number, and verify it with the code we send you. That's all it takes to start.

Is YOM free to use?

Yes. Creating an account and posting a request is free. You only pay the provider for the service itself, in cash after it's done.

Posting a request

How do I post a request?

Tap “Post a request,” choose the service you need, then add the date, time, location, and any helpful details. The more you share, the more accurate your offers.

What details should I include?

  • The service you need and a short description.
  • Your preferred date and time, or mark it as “as soon as possible.”
  • The location where the service will take place.
  • Any notes, such as supplies needed or access instructions.

Can I edit or cancel a request?

Yes. You can edit or cancel your request anytime before a provider starts the work. Cancelling before work begins is always free.

Offers & providers

How do I receive offers?

Once your request is posted, trusted providers nearby send you offers. You'll see each provider's price, rating, and completed jobs so you can compare.

How do I choose a provider?

Review the offers and pick the one that fits your budget and needs. You can check ratings and reviews, and message a provider in-app before you decide.

How are providers verified?

Every provider passes identity and background verification, and customer ratings help you choose with confidence.

What if no one sends an offer?

Try adding more detail or adjusting your timing or location. If you still need help, our support team is happy to assist.

Payments

How do payments work?

You agree on a clear price before the service begins, and you pay cash after it's completed. There are no hidden fees, ever.

Are there any extra charges?

No. The price you agree on with your provider is the price you pay. YOM never adds service charges or surprise fees on top.

What if the price changes after inspection?

If a provider needs to revise the price after seeing the job, they send you an updated price for your approval. Nothing changes unless you accept it.

YOM is cash after service. We don't ask for card details or online payment.

Safety & trust

Is YOM safe to use?

Yes. Providers are verified through ID and background checks, communication stays in-app, and our support team is available around the clock.

How do I keep my information private?

Your full name and contact details stay private until you accept an offer. Before that, providers only see what they need to send you an accurate offer.

What if something goes wrong?

Report any issue from within the app or contact our support team. We review every report and take trust seriously.

Account & settings

How do I update my profile?

Open Settings in the app to update your name, location, language, and notification preferences anytime.

Can I change the app language?

Yes. YOM supports English and Arabic. Switch languages from Settings whenever you like.

How do I delete my account?

You can request account deletion from Settings, or contact us and we'll help you remove your account and data.
